Quick access panels allow for easy disassembly without uninstalling from the production line.

How do you improve THE most game-changing product for MIG wire delivery in two easy steps?

  1. Add a quick access panel for easy maintenance and troubleshooting without uninstalling from production line.
  2. Add an extra friction-reducing roller at each end to eliminate any potential for wire hang-ups and extend connector life.

While the innovative design of the Wire Guide Module has been updated, the key benefit remains unchanged; the elimination of wire friction for a smooth, consistent wire feed for consistent welding performance.

How do Wire Guide Modules eliminate wire friction? Wire friction compounds around each bend and turn in the wire delivery system, building up at several points from the wire source to the feeder. A series of rollers with bearings in each Module allows the wire to coast around bends and turns, eliminating points of high friction. With low friction conduit and Wire Guide Modules, friction compounds at less than half the rate it does in applications without Guide Modules.

In addition to improving welding performance in GMAW applications, Large Wire Guide Modules are also available for handling larger wires for submerged arc welding. Talk to your Wire Wizard Technical Sales Expert about how you can optimize your wire delivery system with Wire Guide Modules for a smooth wire feed to each & every weld!

A trailer manufacturer was dealing with overheating MIG guns and poor consumable life on their fixed automation torches. They also utilized three different models of torches, which required stocking sets of consumables for each in their tool crib. Unhappy with their current welding performance, they decided to trial PowerBall® Torches.

The previous MIG guns they were using were not performing well, and the handles overheated in long duty cycle applications. With the enhanced conductivity of the PowerBall® design, operators saw immediate improvement with far less heat buildup in the handle, enabling them to keep welding and not waiting for the guns to cool down.

After installing PowerBall® Fixed Automation Torches, they saw a substantial increase in consumable life. The previous fixed automation torches required contact tips to be changed daily. After installing PowerBall® fixed automation torches, contact tips lasted three days, increasing productivity and reducing downtime for consumable changeout. And since both the PowerBall® fixed automation torches and handheld MIG guns use the same consumable design, they were also able to streamline their tool crib down from having 3 different sets of consumables to just one.
