A US trailer manufacturer recently saw a big improvement in their consumable life after switching to PowerBall® welding consumables. With their previous MIG welding guns using OEM consumables, contact tip life was typically short and multiple tips were required during each shift. After replacing the front end consumables and torch liners on their existing MIG guns with PowerBall® consumables, contact tips lasted through several shifts, with over 10X the consumable life when compared to their previous torch consumables! The optimized conductivity provided by the innovative PowerBall® design combined with the superior wire delivery with E-Power® torch liners resulted in reduced downtime and increased production rates.

In addition to the consumables, the facility was also able to increase productivity and cut costs by switching to bulk drums of aluminum wire instead of spools. The transition utilized Wire Wizard's wire delivery system for aluminum wire (see example below), along with wire straighteners, to provide smooth and reliable wire feeding.
