WIRE WIZARD®
LOW FRICTION POLYMER & EXTRA FLEXIBLE CONDUIT

Cross-linked Polymer Conduit
Known throughout the industry for its longevity and low friction coefficient, this durable conduit has proven to outlast metal lined products while still providing considerably less pull on the feed motor. It’s your first choice for stationary, moving feed units and is also the recommended conduit for aluminum wire applications. EC-3R & EC-4R conduits feature advanced cross-linked polymer for extended wear and durability.

  • Available in four sizes: Cross-linked EC-3R & EC-4R (standard sizes), EC-5 & EC-6 (for larger diameter wire)
  • Ideal for both ferrous & non-ferrous wire, required for aluminum wire
  • Pre-cut lengths are color-coded for easy identification

Flexural Strength Test
EC-3R and EC-4R advanced cross-linked polymer conduits feature a longer service life with enhanced durability and low friction. Flexural strength tests have shown that Wire Wizard® cross-linked polymer conduit outlasts competing conduits in robotic welding and other environments that require a great deal of mobility. Cross-linked polymer conduit is also much more crack resistant, making it stronger at the connection ends where typical polymer conduit often breaks and causes substantial downtime. The test results below indicate the number of cycles completed until the conduit cracked due to excessive stress. ELCo EC-4R conduit lasted 70 times longer than the leading competitor!

Cross-linked Polymer Conduit Nick Break Test
Each piece of conduit below was nicked to simulate the effect of being cut with a sharp object. The piece was then bent to show what would happen when the conduit was placed under stress.

Extra Flexible Conduit
Our most flexible conduit displays exceptional wear characteristics and very low friction coefficient. Perfect for robotics, gantry, linear, or any application where a tighter radius is required. Available in pre-cut or 1 to 100 ft (305mm to 30.5m) bulk coil. All Extra Flexible Conduit now features a spatter-resistant outer jacket, low friction smooth-feed wire coating and patent pending elliptical wire spring liners.
  • Available in four sizes: FC-X - Standard; FC XH - Extra Flexible; FC-XH-LW - For lg. diameter wire; FC-X-SW - For sm. diameter wire
  • Spatter resistant outer jacket
  • Pre-cut lengths are color-coded for easy identification

TIPS FROM THE WIZARD:
The proper way to attach E-Z Feed™ conduit connectors

When installing new conduit, it's important that connector fittings are attached properly to avoid problems such as sudden disconnections and wire shaving. There are also special considerations for aluminum wire applications. The use of connector liners (part # A-4L-H) is highly recommended for aluminum wire to prevent abrasion and wire contamination. Below are the instructions for installing compression connectors on polymer conduit connectors. Tools for conduit installation, such as the Polymer Conduit Cutter and Countersink tool, are available from ELCo Enterprises. The instructions for installing fittings on both polymer and extra flexible conduit are available on our website at http://www.wire-wizard.com/conduit.htm
